Yesterday, Microsoft made the $30 Gears of War Triple Pack official. The primer pack of sorts includes the original Gears of War, its sequel, and a heap of downloadable content for gamers looking to get up to speed prior to Gears of War 3's fall 2011 debut. However, Epic Games might have another project in the works, as well.


Epic Games is prepping a Gears of War: Exile announcement?
Epic Games recently trademarked "Gears of War: Exile," as well as an accompanying logo that uses the familiar cog symbol (pictured). It is unclear as to what the trademark specifically applies to, but it was filed under the good and services description for t-shirts and hint books. As of press time, Microsoft has not responded to GameSpot's request for comment or clarification on the matter.

In late November, Epic Games' design director Cliff Bleszinski promised a Gears of War-related announcement for the 2010 Video Game Awards. On the day of the show, the announcement was pushed to 2011. The project was rumored to be a Kinect-enabled Gears of War title, but no confirmation has arrived from Epic Games or Microsoft on the matter.

GoW was nice and had that said feel to it. The PC version of GoW2 in HI RES WAS AMAZING ON PC! Looked pretty good on Xbox 360. PC version had the best graphics. The gameplay is getting pretty old to me personally. Over the sholder first person view. I really like the co-op though and the creativity in the game. Just not my type.

Maybe I'll give it a chance.....just looking forward to other titles I suppose

where the hell did you get gears of war 2 for the pc man!? i would suck alot penis to have the game on the pc. TELL ME NOW
gross i know but i always wished they put it on the pc like they did the first one, it would have came with another robust editor and maybe even an extra chapter like the first...even tho they did put out that extra mission thing for gears 2 on xbox live but still...the editor!!!

I think what I saw was some shots of the game rendered on the PC.....there was NO WAY in hell the graphics were Xbox 360 material. The X360 is impressive, but I saw back in 2007 CLEARLY was from a PC rendering. SOrry if I was misleading, but the game wasn't released on PC....probably because the devs thought piracy would be a problem [and they thought correct.] I'll try to find those HI-RES pics for you if I can.

to be honest the only reason i like buying pc games over games on the console is the extra goodies. like all the SDKs and mod tools and editors that come along with it, if it was not for those i would play every game on a console. because it is just easier

its sad that piracy has scared away game companies from a system...

Loved the Gears series personally, but I'm pretty sure they (Epic) said that GoW3 was the last one in the series and that they would not be making any more. I vaguely remember hearing that another company would possibly be taking over - make akin to the takeover of the Halo series by 343. Could be wrong though.

PC gaming has been lost on me over the past couple of years because it seems that the requirements to play these games have been increasing exponentially. My computer from a couple of years ago can't touch the games of today, whereas my release-date Xbox360 can play the biggest and best titles of today.
